Vito Abruzzino

Executive Director, EOMAC

Vito Abruzzino is an active, licensed attorney in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. He has been advising clients since 2007 and is a strong advocate for timely, decisive action in contested matters, with a pragmatic approach to complex legal issues. 

 

A Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps, Vito also serves as director of the Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission (EOMAC), which is tasked with leading community support for the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center in Ravenna. 

Prior to beginning his civilian practice in 2013, Vito served as a military prosecutor, command legal advisor and special assistant U.S. attorney at both Fort Jackson, SC and Fort Bragg, NC. He has been honored with the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation medal (with two Oak Leaf Clusters) and Army Achievement Medal (with an Oak Leaf Cluster). 

 

Vito serves on the boards of Salem Regional Medical Center and John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Warren and is a former board member of the Hope House Visitation Center in Youngstown and Salem Area Chamber of Commerce. His community service was recognized in 2014 and 2015 with awards from the Ohio State Bar Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. 

 

Vito earned both his bachelor's and law degree from West Virginia University and lives in Perry Township with his wife and daughter.
